Mangalore: ‘Natural Calamities are Allah’s Warnings to Humanity’ – Zainuddin Musliyar

Mangalore, Mar 28: “Allah doled out intelligence to the humanity. He paved way for the progress of the world through science and technology. He has now been sounding a warning bell to the people in the form of natural calamities, against indulging in wrong things and unjust acts,” said Zainululama Cherusshery Zainuddin Musliyar, general secretary of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Samastha Sunni mega convention organized at Nehru Maidan in the city on Sunday March 27 under the aegis of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama. Samastha secretary, Abdussamad Pookotoor also addressed the gathering.

Mangalore Kazi, Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, performed the Dua ritual. Kasargod Kazi, T K M Bawa Musliyar, presided over the convention. Samastha secretary, Kotumala Bapu Musliyar, delivered the main address.

Muslim Central Committee president, K S Mohammed Masood, MLA, U T Khader, zilla panchayat member, M S Mohammed, Samastha leaders, Ibrahim Musliyar Parannur, M T Abdulla Musliyar, Prof Alikutty Musliyar, and several others were present.

Hoisting of the flag and discussions in the presence of scholars about the roles and responsibilities of Ulemas and other functionaries were also held on the occasion.

Convention reception committee president, Sayyed Zainul Abidin Tangal Kunnungai welcomed. K L Ummer Darimi Pattori proposed the vote of thanks.
