Udupi, Jul 19: The investiture ceremony of Christ School Manipal for the new academic year was held by inducting the newly elected members of the school prefectorial board.
The elected members of the student's council marched forward and assembled on the dais. They were conferred with badges, sashes and the responsibility of flag by the chief guest and the principal. The student council took the pledge to hold the student motto in high esteem administered by the principal.
Fr Rolwin Fernandes, assistant parish priest of Christ Church Manipal was the chief guest for the ceremony. In his address Fr Rolwin Fernandes congratulated the elected members and addressed them to be impartial and honest in leadership, unity, discipline and morality.
Eliza Vaz, principal Christ School administered the oath of office to the student representatives.
Vidya HV compered the programme. Trisha proposed the vote of thanks.
