Dubai Gears Up for SPB’s Evening of Multilingual Musical Magic

Dubai, Mar 30: After World Cup fever, its going to be time for quality music by none other than Indian singing legend Padmabushan S P Balasubramaniam, a big name in the South Indian music industry.
The legend, along with his sister singer S P Shailaja, will perform live in front of a huge crowd at the Football Ground of Indian High School on Friday April 8 from 7 pm onwards.
“As there is no language bar in music, this is a music show for all Indians. Super hit Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu numbers will be presented,” says Denzil Fernandes, who is a master in organizing huge and quality shows in Dubai.
“SPB is himself excited to perform here in Dubai, as he had been asked to do so by many of his fans for the past few months. He was pleased that the show has been arranged for all people without restricting it to any single language,” says Fernandes.
Transworld is presenting this show with the support of sponsors like ALmarai, System Engineering, Chilly Willy, SPPE, Srikanth Nagaraj, and Indian Association Dubai.

Local stars Shobhan and Radhu will compere the entire show. ‘SPB Live In Concert’ will start at 7.00 pm and as a huge crowd is expected, gates will open at 5.30 pm Friday.
Organizers have requested the audience to present on time at the venue which will not only help them to occupy the best seats, but will also help them start the show on time.
Balasubramaniam is a multilingual Indian playback singer, actor, music director, voice actor, and film producer. He is popularly known as SPB and Balu. He has won the National Film Award for ‘Best Male Playback Singer’ six times and has sung over 50,000 songs in 15 Indian languages with a career spanning over four decades.
Balasubramaniam is also the recipient of prestigious civilian awards such as the ‘Padma Bhushan’ (2011) and the ‘Padmashri’ in (2001) from the Government of India. He is the only playback singer in India to have won National Film Awards for singing in four different languages.
