Mangaluru, Jul 23: Two days National Level Management fest Shriyans 'UTHKARSHA' PG fest and 'FEST VISTA' UG fest was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru on July 21 and 22. 14 teams from different MBA colleges participated in the PG fest and 24 teams from different UG colleges participated in the UG fest. Ganaraja Kumble, principal, Shri Ramakunjeshwara degree college, Ramanuja was the chief guest in the valedictory function who distributed cash prize, Trophies and certificates to the winners of various colleges.
In PG fest the overall winner in the event was AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru, overall runner up were AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. The Best manager was won by student of AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the marketing event first position went to AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the Finance event first position went to Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri, and second position was secured by AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru. In the HR event first position went to AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the Business Quiz event the first position went to AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by Srinivas University, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru. In the Best Management Team event the prize was secured by AJ institute of Management, Mangaluru. The Ice breaking event was won by St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru.
In UG fest the overall winner in the event was Sri Rama Degree College, Kalladka. Overall runners up were NMC, Sullia. In the Dance competition first position went to SDM College, Ujire and second position was secured by St Phiomena College, Puttur.In the Social Media Event first position went to Sri Rama Degree College, Kalladka and second position was secured by students of Canara College Mangalore. And in the Variety of Games event first position was secured by students of NMC, Sullia and second position went to Udupi College of professional studies.
The function was presided over by Dr Srinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA Department, Dr Veena S Rai and professor Rashmi, staff coordinators, Dechamma B B and Kishan B Shetty, student coordinators of the PG and UG fest were present on the occasion. Krithi and Hafeeza were the master of ceremony on the occasion.
