The world's first NFT souvenirs for visitors

By IANSlife

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IANSlife): In order to reward loyal clients, Waxpol Resorts worked with Beyond Imagination Technologies (BIT), a blockchain solutions business, to develop one-of-a-kind NFT keepsakes for visitors who stay at their boutique resort chain.

These NFT mementos could very well be the upcoming big thing in the hotel industry. In an update to the loyalty programmes, hotel and resort companies like Waxpol can award their customers with non-fungible tokens. Such properties are able to give out these "tokens" as a token of appreciation for their customers' loyalty by keeping a record of their visitors on the blockchain.

Akanksha Garg, Founder and Director of Waxpol Hotels & Resorts, commented, "We're continuously looking for new strategies to grow, attract, and retain guests." At a time when blockchain and NFTs are gaining traction within multiple industries, I believe that these NFT souvenirs can truly serve as a mark of gratitude to our customers for their continued patronage. Beyond Imagination is the appropriate partner for our objectives to enhance the consumer experience for the travel and tourism industry while maintaining our stance on sustainability."

Speaking about the collaboration, Nikhil Goyal, Founder, Beyond Imagination Technologies, said, "As the application of blockchain technology expands and as the technology becomes more accessible, we at BIT are proud to associate with companies in diverse domains to offer new-age solutions and experiences. We are looking forward to working with Waxpol Hotels & Resorts to enhance their reward program and attract more customers to their locations."
