Mangalore: Kalyana Mantap at Chilimbi Set for Friday Inauguration

Mangalore, Apr 7: The annual Nemotsava and inaugural function of Sri Narayanaguru Kalyana Mantap of Urwa Chilimbi Sri Malaraya Dhoomavati Daivasthana will be held on Friday April 8.

The programmes will begin with offering of prayer to Sri Malaraya Dhoomavati at 7 pm on Thursday. Former union minister, Janardan Poojary, will inaugurate the Kalyana Mantap at 12.15 pm on Friday, following various religious programmes to be undertaken since that morning.

Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, Krishna Palemar, corporator, Ashwin Kumar, and other dignitaries will participate in the inaugural. Community feast will be arranged at 1 pm on Friday, and on the night of April 9, Nema Nadavali of Sri Dhoomavati and family deities will be performed, a release by the Daivasthana Samiti said.
