Kundapur: Seven-year-old Sannidhi's body found 48 hrs after she drowned

Kundapur, Aug 10: The body of seven-year-old student Sannidhi who was washed away in the river from the footbridge at Byndoor’s Kalthodu on Monday has been found 48 hours after her fall. 

The body was found 400 mts away from the spot from where the girl had fallen. 

It may be recalled that Sannidhi was walking back from school when she slipped from the footbridge at Beejamakki, Bolamballi, Kolthodu village and fell to the river below.

The fire brigade, swimmers and local people had been searching continuously for her fighting heavy rains and water current.

    Rest in peace my dear child. You are not a victim of nature's fury but a victim our own elected/made pathetic system which runs/governs on greed/cast/religion. This system doesn't understands the priorities. So I am afraid that as long as system correction to the is not made we may see many more incidents like these. Unfortunately instead of system correction, system corruption is happening.
