Mangaluru: Milagres College set to organize footbal tournament ‘Aquamater Cup’

Mangaluru, Aug 13: Milagres College, Mangaluru is organizing ‘Aquamater Cup’, intercollegiate football tournament on August 17 and 18 at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru.
This tournament is sponsored by John Errol Samuel, proprietor of Aquamtor Laboratory.

The winners will be awarded with Rs 25,000 cash prize and trophy. Runner up will be awarded with Rs 15,000 cash prize and trophy. Best Defender, Best Goal Scorer and Best Goal Keeper will be awarded with Rs 5,000 each and trophy.

Inauguration of the tournament will be held on August 17 at 9.00 am. Roger Antony Samuel, deputy MD of Aquamater water solutions will be the inaugurator. John Errol Samuel, MD of Aquamater Laboratory Mangaluru and NRI Businessman will be the chief guest. Dr Gerald Santhosh Dsouza, director of Physical Education, Mangalore University and D M Aslam, president, DK Football Association will be the guests of honour. Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions will preside over the programme.

The valedictory and prize distribution will be held on August 18 at 4.30 pm.
