Bikers of ‘Mangalore Bikerni’ ride from Chandigarh to Leh

Mangaluru, Aug 16: To celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with the support of MLA Dr Bharat Shetty, Mangalore Bikerni’s Krithi Uchil, Pooja Jain and Asha Mehendale started their ride from Chandigarh on August 7.

From Chandigarh they rode to Amritsar - Srinagar - Zojila Pass- Kargil - Leh - Khardungla Pass (2nd highest motorable pass) - Changla Pass - Pangong Tso Lake India - Chusul - Hanle - Foutila Pass - Umling La pass(world's highest Motorable pass) and back to Leh.

They hoisted the national flag at all the motorable pass including Umling La which is the world's highest motorable pass and also in Kargil LOC.

With no back up vehicle or guide to help, they crossed more than 20 water crossings and faced many landslides. They successfully completed their dream ride in the bikers’ paradise that is Leh Ladakh.
