Mangaluru, Aug 16: 'Cine Galaxy Coastal Film Awards 2022' by (Sandy's) S Company under the aegis of Sandesh Raj Bangera was held on August 14 at Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty Convention Centre, Mulki.
Actor Raj B Shetty, Pruthvi Amber, Charlie director Kiran Raj, actress-anchor Anushree, director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, managing director of Galaxy Entertainment International Limited Shabarish Kodical, Prajwala Shashidhar, Darshan Jain from Ace Promoters, Gautham Jain, Sheela Suvarna, actress Usha Bhandary, managing director of Alankar Event Management Shamitha Lakshmish Shetty, CATCA president Mohan Koppal, president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Harish, managing director of Tirumala Ads Charan Shetty, and president of Gurme foundation Suresh Shetty Gurme were among the chief guests present at the award ceremony.
During the award function, there were some amazing dance performances led by Harish Acharya and Pramodh Alva, celebrity dance performances by Advika Shetty, Chirashree Anchan, Ranjan, Samata Amin, and Swaraj Shetty along with Aryan Dance Crew.
Medly songs were rendered by Manjushree Karthikeya, Deepak Kodical, Prakash Mahadevan and Roopa Prakash.
Meanwhile, the poster of Tulu movie ‘Paper Student’ by Pratham Film Production was unveiled. The trailer and poster of Tulu movie ‘Illokel’ was also released. The film will be released on October 21. ‘Birdhuda Kambala’ by Vijay Kumar Kodialbail and Tulu movie ‘Abatara’ directed by Arjun Kapikad was promoted. The first look teaser of Roopesh Shetty’s Tulu movie ‘Circus’ was also released on the grand stage. The trailer and poster of Sooraj Bolar and Sooraj Shetty’s ‘Love Cocktail’ were also unveiled. Comedy performance by Manju Rai and Dinesh Kodapadav entertained the crowd.
Soujanya Hegde and Vineeth Kumar compered the award ceremony, while Manju Rai compered the red carpet event.
The films of 2018 and 2019 were in the race for the awards. The films released on OTT were also considered.
The awards were presented in 27 categories. Earlier, the awards were presented in 24 categories. Three categories have been added this time.
