Kundapur: Headmaster Eshwar Kharvi Breathes His Last

Kundapur, Apr 13: B Eshwar Kharvi (58), headmaster of S V Higher Primary School in Gangolli, and a resident of Koteshwar near here, breathed his last due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday April 12. Kharvi is survived by wife, a son, and two daughters.

Kharvi had worked as a teacher in the said school for nearly 30 years, and had been elevated as its headmaster about a decade back. He had worked in Gangolli Primary Fishermen’s Cooperative Society before functioning as the director and vice president of the society later. He had worked as the member of the advisory committee of Gurujyoti Sports Club for about ten years, and as the member of Jattigeshwara Youth Club.

Members of the governing councils of S V group of educational institutions, leaders of Konkan Kharvi community, a large number of Kharvi’s fans, parents of students, teachers, and others, paid their last respects to Kharvi. In his honour, a day’s holiday was declared on Tuesday for schools governed by S V Education Trust.
