Tumakuru: Minister Madhuswamy to join Congress?

Tumakuru, Aug 20: Former MLA of Congress K N Rajanna has given an explosive statement saying that influential minister in the present BJP government J C Madhuswamy likes Congress party and he has asked Rajanna to provide him party ticket from Congress.

Speaking to reporter on Friday, in the city, Rajanna said, “Minister Madhuswamy has expressed his desire to contest from Tiptur constituency. If he wishes to join Congress, we will always welcome him.”

Giving his opinion on the matter, KPCC president D K Shivakumar said, “I do not know whether Madhuswamy will join Congress or not. But have got information from middlemen that he is desirous of joining Congress.”
