Puttur, Aug 21: A woman committed suicide on the day of Uttarakriya (obsequies) of her deceased husband.
Vasanthi (42), is the woman who hanged herself in the cowshed of her house on August 20.
She took the extreme step on the very day when Pinda Dana was being done on the day of Uttarakriya of her husband Krishna Naika.
