Mangaluru, Aug 21: The Mumbai police control room has received a threat call from a telephone number of Pakistan origin saying that one more attack similar to that of 26/11 will be carried out in Mumbai.
In the wake of this, an alert has been sounded in the coastal districts of Karnataka also.
Terrorists had used the sea route to launch attack on Mumbai on November 26, 2008. That is why special vigil is being kept on the Arabian Sea coast.
Abdul Ahmed, SP of coast guard said that the union home ministry had informed all the states to take precautions after the Mumbai police received the threat call.
