Kadaba: No road – Sick elderly woman carried using wooden pole for 2 kms

Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, Aug 21: An elderly sick woman was carried with the support of a wooden pole by two men to a distance of 2 kms as there is no proper road at Ballakka near Kallugudde of Noojibalthila village near Kadaba.

The area is infested by wild elephants also. The 70-year old woman was suffering from severe leg pain. She had to be taken to Uppinangady via Enjira on August 19. However, the mud road is not fit for vehicles to travel. So the family members tied the woman in a cloth, hung it by a wooden pole and carried her for 2 kms.

The video of the woman being carried with the wooden pole has gone viral on social media. The road in question is the main road that connects Noojibalthila with Konaje village. Enjira is the nearest market for people living in this area.

Due to the incessant rains that poured recently in this part, the residents had to park their vehicles half way and walk for two kilometers.

Govt is fully engaged and busy with only Savarkar, Tippu, Muslims, Hijab, conversion, beef etc which are against the constitution. Govt is blind and not interested on these fundamental issues which are its responsibility and duty.
