Aug 22: Dakshina Kannada reports eight Covid cases, seven infections in Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Aug 22: Dakshina Kannada on Monday, August 22, reported 8 new coronavirus cases while 7 cases were registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,36,536 out of which 76 are currently active. As many as 12 patients were discharged on August 22.

No deaths were reported on August 22. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,859. Positivity rate for the day stood at 1.3% percent.

Udupi

Seven coronavirus cases were reported on August 22. The total active Covid cases are 39.

A total of 10,90,336 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,84,092 have received both doses and 2,29,131 people have received booster doses.
