Aug 23: Dakshina Kannada reports 12 Covid cases, 7 infections in Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Aug 23: Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday, August 23, reported 12 new coronavirus cases while 7 cases were registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,36,548 out of which 72 are currently active. As many as 16 patients were discharged on August 23.

No deaths were reported on August 23. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,859. Positivity rate for the day stood at 1.74% percent.

Udupi

Seven coronavirus cases were reported on August 23. The total active Covid cases are 39.

A total of 10,90,399 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,84,100 have received both doses and 2,31,173 people have received booster doses.
