Bengaluru, Aug 24: Actor Arjun Kapikad's directorial debut 'Abatara' will release here on September 2.
Actor, director and screenplay writer Devadas Kapikad has written the story for the movie. Apart from directing, Arjun Kapikad plays the lead role in the movie.
Nikhil Keerthi Salian has produced the movie under the banner of Bolli Creations and Avika Productions.
The film has been shot in Mangaluru and its surroundings. The movie released in 15 theatres including Bharath mall, PVR, Cinepolis, Udupi, Manipal, Karkala, Puttur and Sullia on August 18 to good response.
Arjun Kapikad, Gaana Bhat and Christina George are playing lead roles in the movie. Actor Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sai Krishna, Shanil Guru, Chethan Rai Mani, Lakshmish, Sunil Chitrapura are also playing prominent roles.
