Kundapur, Aug 24: A video demonstrating the working of a tester that turns on when placed on a flyover here in the heart of the town where the electric connections are laid, has gone viral, becoming a cause for worry among the residents of the taluk.
While the town has been experiencing heavy rainfall since the last three days, this video of the tester being demonstrated on the flyover has been posted on social media.
Navayuga Construction had recently completed building the flyover amidst all the problems. Although the flyover was opened for vehicular traffic, electric connections were not provided for the streetlights. After a huge public outcry, electricity was provided to light up the flyover.
The recent video of the use of tester has become a cause for worry and citizens feel that officials need to take note of the video and take steps immediately to solve the issue.
