Mangaluru: Renovated Children’s Indoor Play Park inaugurated at Lourdes Central School

Mangaluru, Aug 24: Children need the freedom and time to play. Because Play is not a luxury. It is a necessity. Play area is a place designed to provide a happy environment where the children can exercise their imagination and have fun.

It was an auspicious day for the little children of kindergarten section at Lourdes Central School as they witnessed the blessing and inaugural ceremony of the newly renovated indoor play area on August 24. 

Manager Dr John Baptist Saldanha, principal Fr Robert D'Souza, deacon Jason, Fr Arul Joseph, Sr Regina and PTEC members were present.

Linette Pereira welcomed the gathering. Later she invited Fr manager, Fr principal, PTEC members and few children to cut the ribbon and inaugurate the childrens play area.

This was followed by prayer service led by Fr Manager and Fr Principal. They prayed for gods blessings that. No harm may befall those who come to play in the park.

While addressing little children Fr Manager said, "The park is made for you so that you can enjoy yourselves and refresh your minds." He thanked Fr Principal for putting in all the hard work in providing such a sophisticated play park for the children.

Later the guests spent little time with the children in clicking the photographs.

Soon after the blessing, children rushed to find the place on the different play equipments.
