Kundapur: Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary receives grievances at Byndoor

Kundapur, Aug 24: Minister of social welfare and Uttara Kannada district in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary received grievances from people at the party office. “The grievances will be received once a month in the party office as it is the responsibility of the BJP,” he said.

He said that there are 2,439 hostels for backward classes in the state and two lac students are studying. “As the capacity has been raised by 25%, another 31,000 are getting education. A sum of Rs 250 crore has been allocated to open a hostel in a rented place,” he said.

“Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Mangaluru on September 2. Preparations for his arrival are in progress. An agreement is made with prestigious companies to start self-employment schemes for 300 women. They are being trained. Three training institutes will be opened at Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts,” he said. He received grievances from various people on the occasion.

BJP Mandala president Deepak Kumar Shetty, BJP district vice president Ananda Kharvi Uppunda, district chief secretary Sadananda Uppinakudru, Mandala chief secretary Prakash Jaddu Priyadarshini Devadiga were present.
