Mangaluru, Aug 24: Fr Rudolph Raj Pinto, Carmelite  priest and Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd inaugurated the Canara Catholic Konkani MCs' Meet held at the Manasa Amusement Park at Pilikula on Tuesday, August 23.

Wilfred Pinto, managing director, Manasa Amusement Park, marketing director Jayesh,  Praveen Tauro,  marketing manager,  Daijiworld were present on dias.

In his inaugural address, Walter said, "MCs are the most responsible persons in an event and thousands of people rely on them for various reasons. Like other professionals, MCs also face a number of problems but they are compelled to hide it with a smiling face. But this is not tolerable for a long period. An official association was needed for the MCs to fight against the injustice to them and for their rights. At the same time, there was a need for unity among the MC community. Mutual cooperation will help them survive in the profession  for a long time. I congratulate all the MCs gathered here for their mentality of oneness. Hope in future also these types of gatherings will be held to bring them under one umbrella and encourage new members with proper guidance."

In his speech,  Wilfred Pinto said, "We, the management of Manasa Amusement Park, are  happy to organise a special get together of MCs. It is a special and memorable day for us. Our facility has been completely closed for the past two years because of covid restrictions. But the reopening with a new management has been successful. Our new facilities and innovative ideas are attracting people to Manasa, Pilikula with large numbers. Today we want to share our joy with the MCs by introducing them to our facilities and innovation. The gathering of MCs in our premises, in itself, is an honor for us. "

Introducing Manasa Amusement  Park to the MCs, Jayesh said, "Manasa Water Park and Manasa Cottages have now become household names in the coastal region of Karnataka. The water rides, rain dance, musical fountain, toddler pool, wave pool at Manasa attract the visitors repeatedly at regular intervals.

Along with the water games, the visitors enjoy the delicious food at Manasa which has got ample space with a very good ambience, and both veg and non-vegetarian foods are served. People also use the premise  of Manasa for weddings, roce and other events. Manasa also has AC cottages for visitors for a serene stay amid nature. There are many new innovative projects under construction and I assure that once all the projects are completed,  the Manasa Water Park will become the most noted picnic spot in Karnataka."
