Mangaluru, Aug 25: BJP state president and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said to prove through witnesses about the 40% commission charge against the state BJP government.
Nalin further said, “Jayamala of Congress made scam in eggs. Congress looted flood relief funds. They are an 80% party. If they have morality, let them give proof. Let Kempanna also give proof. If Kempanna gives some evidence, we will look into it.”
Speaking about threat letter to former minister Eshwarappa, Nalin said, “The government will provide security to Eshwarappa. Idgah maidan is a government land. Ganesha idol can be kept there. If an appeal is made to the local body, they will approve. No one can say they will not allow us to celebrate Ganesha festival on a government land. It is not their ancestors’ property. Public programme should be allowed on a government land.”
Meeting prior to PM’s visit
A meeting took place at the auditorium of zilla panchayat in the city in the wake of PM Modi’s visit to the city on September 2.
District in-charge minister Sunil Kumar, deputy commissioner, city police commissioner, SP, district and taluk level officers took part.
Officers were instructed to bring beneficiaries of union government schemes to the public meeting. Discussion with regards to security was held with police officers. Public programme will take place at Gold Finch grounds at Kulur. PM Modi will inaugurate various programmes worth Rs 3,600 crore at NMPT.
