Udupi: Man injured in electrical mishap dies after battling for life for 48 days

Udupi, Aug 26: A man who was seriously injured after suffering an electric shock, died on Thursday August 25.

Sudesh N Karkera (51) was seriously injured on July 9 when he was on an electrical repair work in an ice plant at Malpe as he came in contact with the high voltage electricity.

Sudesh received serious burn injuries on his both hands, right thigh and stomach. He was admitted to a hospital immediately. Doctors said that his spine got broken due to the high voltage electricity.

A case is registered in Malpe police station.

    Very sad.Sometimes people dont take care when working with electricity,thinking they know it and nothing happens.One should always be careful with electricity Our Indian connections are not always 100 percent sure.Leakage ,wire cut ,etc Mostly i Monsoon is hard.May his soul rest in Peace.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.Must have had a high voltage electric accident.
