Mangaluru: Meera of St Agnes College receives PhD

Mangaluru, Aug 26: Meera, Head of the Department of History, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru has been awarded PhD by Mangalore University for her Thesis entitled 'The Billavas of Dakshina Kannada District-A Socio Cultural study (1850-1950)'.

She was guided by professor Nirmal Raj, professor, Department of studies in History, Mangalore University and who presently is the Registrar Evaluation of Tumkur University.

Her spouse Ramesh is serving as DK District, deputy commandant, department of Home Guards and Civil Defence.
