Udupi, Aug 27: Blood donation camp was organized by Trisha Viday College Youth Red cross unit in association with Lions Club Udupi midtown, Indian Red Cross Society Kundapur.
Presiding over the function CA Gopalkrishna Bhat, president Trisha group of institutions said, “Blood donation is a life saving act. These blood donation camps will increase humanity among people."
S Jayakar Shetty, chairman, Indian Red Cross society Kundapur Veena Jeevan Shetty, president Lions club Udupi were chief guests for the programme.
Prof Guruprasad Rao, principal Trisha Vidya College, Prof Indu Reethi, principal Trish Vidya Evening College, Prof Chandravathi, lecturer and Prof Chethana Sunil were present.
College principal, faculty, staff and more than 120 students of the institutions donated blood.
