Illegal construction on Agricultural land. Filling up marshy land with mud and building houses. All these illegal Activities must stop. If one builds house by bribing government officials getting illegal permission for building on soft ground, this will happen. So don't blame rain. Blame illegal construction

By doing fake make up to roads and surrounding areas the Govt thinks they will show a rosy picture to the PM. But looks like mother nature has other plans, imagine if it rains non stop for even a few hours, kottara chowki and Kulur will be immersed in floods. Just the sign that even mother nature is fed up of all these dramas.

When the loads of mud were poured on the site, where were the locals to oppose it or bring to the notice of the Mangaluru Corporation or taken for a ride to those officials who keep quiet when such things are going on. All are rising up after the tragody happens. Now, all say without permission this happened that happened. Please dont blame the rain. Rains do not harm. Blame the govt employees. Why such things were not happening few years before. Floods were only in the rivers...
