Sullia: Villagers desert houses overnight due to severe floods

Sullia, Aug 29: A flood like situation is reported in the taluk in Kalmakaru and Kollamogru villages here late night on Sunday August 28.

Severe floods are reported at Sampaje and Koyanad of Madikeri taluk. Villagers left their homes in the dead of the night itself.

According to sources, Gulikkana and Kadamakal estates is hit massively by the flowing flood water. Huge trees got uprooted and washed away due to the force of flood waters.

    Totally agree, real kujuma. Wait and see further catastrophes on the people, who have angered the land gods and ancestors, by their activities. Even the Gods are saying, the BJP is only worshipper of money and yet, these fanatics believe in the snake oil salesmen.
