Bengaluru, Aug 29: As if the compensate for the cancelled Janotsava Rally at Doddaballapur to mark the one-year anniversary of Basavaraj Bommai regime in Karnataka, the ruling BJP is planning to hold six mega rallies in September and October across the State.

Lingayat strongman and former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, who was recently appointed a member of the powerful national bodies of Central Election Committee and Parliamentary Board of ruling BJP at the Centre, will be touring the entire State along with him, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced in Bengaluru on Monday.

Speaking to media persons after meeting Yediyurappa at his Cauvery residence on Palace Road, Bommai said the rallies are being organised on the directions of the BJP National President J P Nadda to galvanise the workers and strengthen the organisation ahead of next year’s assembly polls.

He said Yediyurappa had been to Delhi, where he had met Nadda as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently.

As the Prime Minister will be visiting Mangaluru on September 2, all programs connected with it were discussed with Yediyurappa in detail.

The tour of Karnataka by different teams led by State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP National President Arun Singh and Yediyurappa in the coming weeks was also discussed at the meeting, Bommai said.

The Chief Minister said he will discuss with the senior state BJP leaders and then take a final decision regarding the programs planned in the months of September and October.

The national leaders have collected details about the massive Janotsava programme to be held in Doddaballapur on September 8 and given certain instructions to make it successful. The same has been conveyed to the organisers to follow it across the State during the forthcoming rallies starting with one at Doddaballaput.

Health and Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar, BJP MLAs' and office-bearers have promised to make Doddaballapur event a big success, he added.

What achievements, accomplishments and developments so far are these communal goons are going to high light in these rallies or is it a big display of fake show and emotion rising theatrics fooling people ?. People are not not interested and do not want to hear anymore your future big promises, vows and dreams. People want reality now Do or Die because people themselves are dying.
