Puttur: St Philomena PU College organizes Talents' Hunt - 'BLOSSOM'

Puttur, Sep 1: Fine Arts Association of St Philomena PU College, Puttur organized Talents' Hunt - 'BLOSSOM' on August 30 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall.

The president, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal said, "Every one is born with a talent and it is the duty of the students to recognize it to become successful in life".

The chief guest, Fr Stany Pinto, campus director said, "one should have a positive attitude to grab opportunities rather than to wait for them. Eagerness to learn is an intrinsic motivation that develops seriousness about bringing up one's talent and creating a career".

Sports achievers M S Chaithanya ( II PCMC), Varsha ( II SCBA) and K Srivardhana (I PCMB 'B') were felicitated for securing Bronze Medals at Karnataka State Junior and Senior Athletics Championship.

Karthik Shenoy and Neeraj R Hedge were felicitated for clearing C A Foundation Examination held by ICAI in the month of June.

Ashwini K, director, Fine Arts Association, Divya K department of Chemistry, Rahul, department of Commerce, Rama Naik, department of Kannada, Rashmi P S, department of Physics, Joshila M Menezes coordinated the programme.

Ashwini K, deparment of Chemistry and director of Fine Arts Association welcomed the gathering. Rashmi, department of Physics proposed vote of thanks. Suma D, department of English compered the programme.
