New Delhi, Sep 1: Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, New Delhi organized a seminar on 'Development of Official Language with Technology' for senior executives of New Delhi Zone. Anshuli Arya (IAS), secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, department of Official Language was the chief guest of the seminar organized and the programme was presided over by Amit Tuli, general manager and zonal head, New Delhi Zone.
The seminar began with a welcome by Amit Tuli. After the welcome address, the Hindi service of internet banking of the bank was launched by the chief guest Anshuli Arya (IAS), secretary, Government of India, Department of Official Language. Apart from this, the annual Official Language Action Plan 2022-23 of the bank was also released by the secretary during the programme.
On this occasion, Sanjay Singh, Head (Official Language and Parliamentary Committee) gave a detailed presentation about the official language initiatives taken by the Bank. Subsequently, the secretary in her address on 'Role of Senior Executives in Official Language Implementation' appreciated the presentation of the Bank. While mentioning the innovative 'Bhashayi Chaupal' and evaluation and provision of giving marks for the outstanding achievement for annual implementation, the innovative steps taken by the bank is a milestone achievement.
In this programme, Amit Tuli in his presidential address urged to adopt Hindi wholeheartedly and overcome the temptation of English. The technical session was conducted by Rajesh Srivastava, deputy director, department of Official Language and Pankaj Kumar Verma, chief manager (Rajbhasha), New Delhi Zone. The programme was coordianted by Puneet Kumar Mishra, assistant general manager, department of Official Language, Head Office. The seminar was attended by more than 100 persons like heads of departments of New Delhi zone, regional and deputy regional heads and executives posted as branch heads in various branches of the zone.
