Mangaluru: Srinivas University conducts orientation programme

Mangaluru, Sep 1: The Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce and Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities had organised an orientation programme for the students of undergraduate courses 2022-23 on September 1 at its city campus in Pandeshwar.

Pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao administered the oath-taking ceremony and welcomed the students to Srinivas University.

Chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr CA A Ragavendra Rao, in his presidential address, promised that the students will develop into shining diamonds when they complete the undergraduate programme.

Vice chancellor of Srinivas University Dr P S Aithal and development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr Laveena D'Mello were present. Students and parents of Institute of Management and Commerce 1 st year graduation batch from the department of BBA Dual Specialization, BBA Hospital Administration, BBA in Logistics; Supply Chain Management, BBA in Port, Shipping Management; Logistics, B Com Professional, B Com with ACCA, B Com with USA CMA and students of Institution of Social Sciences and Humanities 1 st year graduation batch from the department of BSW and B A Journalism and Mass Communication were present.

Dean of IMC Prof Keerthan Raj welcomed the gathering. Course co-ordinator of Port Shipping Management and Logistics, Dr Sonia Noronha proposed a vote of thanks. Prof Chirag and Prof Shwetha P Bhat hosted the event.
