Udupi, Sep 1: The new MGM evening college office and principal’s office opened by MGM management committee as part of contribution during India’s Independence Day was inaugurated by T Sathish U Pai, senior trustee of the college and the one instrumental for the inauguration of the new college.
He wished that the college may provide quality education and attract more students in the future.
Chief guest Manipal Academy of General Education secretary Varadaraja Pai conveyed his wishes.
Dr Devidas S Naika took over charge as the first principal of the new college. MGM Degree College principal, Professor Lakshminarayan Karanth, BCA convener Dr Vishwanath Pai, Commerce convener Dr Mallika Shetty, college teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present.
