Mangaluru, Sep 3: A CNE workshop on ‘Velocious palms in emergency chaos: A step towards clinical competence’ was inaugurated here at Dr MV Shetty College on Saturday September 3 organized by Dr MV Shetty College of Nursing.
Inaugurating the event, Diana Cutinha, NABH coordinator, Mangalore Institute of Oncology said, “Nursing is a noble profession where you are serving patients with a smiling face and helping them in curing. This workshop will help you gain knowledge in clinical competence.
Trustee of MV Shetty memorial trust Dr Ranjit Shetty said, “Nurses should be ready in any emergency. They have to upgrade their skills. Nursing is an important field which will add value to your profession. I urge everyone to learn from this workshop and carry forward the knowledge you gain which can be used during your practice.”
After the formal function, there will be session on ‘Client coding system – An updated overview’ by Cleea Anline Pinto, associate professor Nitte Usha institute of nursing sciences, NITTE deemed to be university Derlakatte and session on ‘Medico legal aspects in emergency care’ by Ashwin, associate professor medical surgical nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing, Mangaluru.
Principal Christeena Saju Varkey, programme coordinator Anupama HV, student coordinator Anumariya were present.
Mashooru and Shanet compered the event and Megha Theresa welcomed the gathering.
