Modi’s Mangaluru visit ‘Just a Trailer’, Doddaballapur next: Sudhakar

From Our Special Correspondent
Daijiworld Media Network

Bengaluru, Sep 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to coastal Mangaluru is ‘just a trailer’ and next one will be in Doddaballapur on September 8, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Saturday.

Speaking to media persons in Chikkaballapur, Dr Sudhakar, who has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the arrangements for the Doddaballapur bash of Modi, claimed that lakhs of people participated in Prime Minister’s public meeting held in Mangaluru on Friday and said the participants were from just one district and not the entire State.

In a sharp attack against Congress leaders, the minister said the Congressmen who ask where BJP is, should have seen the size of the crowd at Mangaluru if they have eyes.

The minister said the ruling BJP is committed to the all-round development of the State and urged people to come in large numbers for the Doddaballapur rally. He said more than 20,000 people must attend the September 8 bash as all festivals are now over to show their appreciation of the double engine rule in the State and Centre.

He said all the post-independence Government’s which ruled the State have neglected Bagepalli while BJP alone has taken up HN Valley, Etthinahole and other development projects. The Congress-JD(S) coalition government announced the HN Valley project at its last meeting but has done precious little for implementation. But the BJP government has released Rs 60 crore and is developing the region.

Dr Sudhakar said the double engine governments in Bengaluru and Delhi are working for the betterment of all sections of the people from students to women and farmers. The Modi rule is taking the country on the path of development, he said claimed that ‘Modi is the most popular leader in the world and BJP is proud to have such a tall leader’.

The minister urged all people to participate in the Doddaballapur rally in large numbers to send out a strong message to the entire State that BJP is returning to power in Karnataka in the 2023 assembly polls.

The BJP loudmouths must solve the following infrastructure problems for the development of Udupi and Mangalore Districts: 1. Constant Power Outages by Adani and MESCOM two hopeless companies in the business of generating and distribution of energy. 2. Drainage - poorly planned and engineered and badly executed drainage systems lead to constant flooding every monsoon season 3. Roads - poorly engineered and substandard Laying of roads without drainage and walkways and walkovers should be remedied. Why are the roads so poorly laid out that one rainfall creates a million craters and pot holes that go unrepaired. 4. Municipality - the entire management of these two Municioalities should be removed and resplaced by educated and younger generation who will survey and monitor the maintenance of all public utilities and facilities such as keeping in check illegal hawking, municipal market conditions and cleanliness, street lighting, police presence and public safety, traffic control, and illegal structures and shops and restaurants and street food vendors and the banning of flower vendors on pavements on Hindu festival days whose activities are not checked and leave all areas full of flower garbage - these flower vendors should be allocated special zones in a market place and not be allowed on the main roads thus causing traffic jams too. Temples - anybody and everybody makes a tree or a public place into a temple as it generates money to be pocketed by those individuals. This issue should be regulated without hurting anyones sentiments or faith. For example a big banyan tree between Service bus stand and City bus stand in Udupi town blocks the free flow of traffic but the authorities are not taking any action. Many a time, an eye was study is physically conducted but the tree is not removed for the free flow of traffic. Religious belief! In Padubidri many such trees were sawed off and illegal temples were demolished to make room for the national highway

Never get fooled by the size of the crowd but count on their real action on voting time. "Know that dead fishes follow the flow of the water."

Have a thought process of economy and development than size of the rallies and herogiri in public tax payers money used for such rallies. Common man doesn’t care all drama regardless of which party but at end of the day food on table and shelter is most important. Poor doesn’t care suit boot or aeroplane helicopter rides but when poor hungry thier stomach is important than big show up lecturing it applies to all parties. All politicians should learn this than wasting tax payers money. My father is 93 yrs old last visit I went and paid his house and property taxes because they went up so much where he is not able to pay them anymore because he has not income. It is a shame and these politicians boast too much

Traffic jam is not new in Bangalore during day hours. All said and done, both RaGa and Siddu have to contest from safe constituencies to keep their career afloat in politics, as they have been booted out of their backyards.
