Mangaluru, Sep 4: A Hindu worker from Hanuman Nagar in Kumpala, killed himself in his rented house by hanging on September 3.
The deceased Jayanth S Kumpala (49) was an active member of Hindu Yuva Sene. He ferried auto rickshaw for a living. He was also getting a new house built at Hanuman Nagar which was at its final stages of construction. His suicide has led to many suspicions.
Jayanth had lost his smart phone at prime minister Narendra Modi's programme of that was held at Goldfinch grounds on September 2. It is said that he was depressed over losing his phone even till the afternoon of September 3.
When Jayanth’s wife returned home in the evening, the suicide came to light. When Hindu Yuva Sene was at its beginning stages, Jayanth had worked as a leader. He is survived by wife and two sons.
