Mangaluru, Sep 4: The Expert Pre-university College Valachil campus witnessed a melodious flute concert in the evening by versatile flautist Pandit Pravin Godkhindi.

Various songs mainly in Yaman Raga flew out of Dr Godkhindis flute and took the audience into the magical world of music. Panditji was greeted with a big round of applause throughout the concert from students who enjoyed every bit of it.

He was accompanied by Pandit Kiran Godkhindi on the Tabla. At the end, there was an interactive session with students which was interesting as well as informative.

Ankush N Nayak, director, Information Technology, Expert group of institutions, welcomed flautist Dr Godkhindi with a bouquet. Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of institutions felicitated the artistes by presenting mementos to them.

Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal, Raghavendra Shenoy, vice principal (admin) and other staff members were present on the occasion. Suravi Sudhir, a student of O-1 batch introduced the artistes, welcomed and compered the programme.
