Puttur, Sep 6: Sleuths of National Investigation Agency (NIA), who are investigating the murder case of youth BJP leader of Sullia Praveen Nettaru, raided 32 houses, buildings in Puttur and Sullia, early in the morning on Tuesday September 6.
It is learnt that they interrogated accused and those who cooperated with the accused. Karnataka police also accompanied the NIA sleuths in the operation.
Naufal (28), Sainul Abid (22), Mohammed Syed (32), Abdul Basheer (29) and Riyaz (27) have been already taken into custody earlier by the NIA.
It may be recalled, 31-year-old Praveen was hacked to death on July 26 night. Unknown bike-borne miscreants had attacked him with swords and fled the scene. Praveen owned a chicken shop at Peruvaje Cross, Bellare village near Puttur.
