Mangaluru: World Physiotherapy Day observed at Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, Mangalore celebrated World Physiotherapy Day by organising 'A walk on Awareness of Physiotherapy' and its importance to general public on Tuesday, September 6.

The walk was flagged off by Dr Y Bharath Shetty, MLA Mangalore North Constituency. Dr Bharath Shetty spoke about how hysiotherapy had helped him recover from a back pain condition. He expressed his appreciation to all the physiotherapists for playing a vital role in health care and he wished the young budding physiotherapists the best in their career.

Dr Ranjit Shetty, Trustee, Dr M V Shetty Group of Colleges, Dr Suma Rai, Director, Dr M V Shetty Group of Colleges and the principal and staff were present at the event.

The students walked from the College Campus till Kavoor Junction while displaying the slogans spreading awareness on physiotherapy.
