Mangaluru, Sep 6: The Yenepoya School, PU College and Yenepoya Centre for Advanced Learning organised their annual online event, YENERGY, for educators across the world to showcase their talents.
This is the 3rd consecutive year where YENERGY has not failed to impress the participants and audience with its vigor. YENERGY 3.0 War of Talents - Back to School, presented 4 categories for participation that included *‘Happy Feet’*, a platform for the talented dancers, *‘Entertainmental’*, for the dynamic performers, *‘Sing is King’* for amazing singers and *‘Test your Taste’* for the gifted chefs. The events commenced on 2nd September and concluded on the 5th of September by airing the Grand Finale.
Yenergy witnessed an overwhelming participation from teachers across the globe. The zeal and adoration the educators invested for the contest was more than just being praise worthy. The judges were enraptured with the entertaining performances.
The Grand Finale was inaugurated at 6 PM, on September 5. The principal of Yenepoya School & PU College, Uzwal Menezes addressed the gathering, which was followed with a significant message by the campus director, Mishria Javeed. Farhaad Yenepoya, pro-chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), conveyed his wishes for the occasion.
The title holders were awarded cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 securing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively sponsored by Yenepoya University.
Mohanraj secured the 1st position in the category 'Happy Feet', followed by Shravya Shetty in the 2nd place and Sushmitha S in the 3rd place. The 1st place in the category 'Entertainmental' was grabbed by Chethan Kumar. Kiran Shetty and Mohan Raj jointly bagged the 2nd place followed by Sushmitha S in the 3rd place. Donald Preetham Henry won the 1st place tagged by Sudheendra securing the 2nd place followed by Uzwal Menezes and Nanditha Menon in the 3rd places in the category, 'Sing is King.' The last category, 'Test your Taste', spotted Dhanya in the 1st place, Praveena in the 2nd place followed by Merlyn Menezes in the 3rd position.
