Mangaluru, Sep 8: On account of World Physiotherapy Day, the Institute of Physiotherapy Srinivas University conducted a free physiotherapy camp for osteoarthritic knee pain patients on September 6, in city campus, Pandeshwar.
This camp was headed by faculties of physiotherapy department under the guidance and support of Dean Dr S Rajasekar.
Complete knee assessment, thorough testing and treatment was carried out, by fourth year interns and MPT under faculty guidance. Free orthopedic consultation was also provided to all the knee pain patients.
Camp was hence concluded with providing information sheet explaining preventions and basic exercises under the WCPT guidelines 2022 to the patients.
