Mangalore: Girl Commits Suicide

Mangalore, Apr 20: Jyoti (18), residing at Batrabettu Mane in Alape in the city, ended her life by hanging herself at her home on Tuesday April 19.

She used to work as sales personnel in a shop on Falnir Road here. Reportedly, she was mentally troubled over some issues. When no one was around on Tuesday morning, she made a noose by using her churidar veil, and hanged herself from the tan.

On a complaint filed by Jyoti’s elder sister, Ramya, a case was registered in rural police station here.
