Kasargod: Lady thrown out of bike dies under lorry wheels

Kasargod, Sep 9: In a tragic incident, a housewife was thrown out of a bike and died after coming under the wheels of a lorry here.

The accident occurred near Adoor on Friday, September 10 evening, September 9. Ameena (45), wife of A K Mohammed, a resident of Ambate Moole, Pandi, Adoor is the deceased.

She was riding pillion with her child on the bike being run by her husband. The husband applied sudden brakes to avoid collision with a speeding car approaching from the opposite direction and Ameena was thrown to the road. She came under the lorry that arrived then and died on the spot.
Her husband and child have escaped with minor injuries. Adoor police personnel have registered a case.

The mortal remains of the lady are kept at Kasargod general hospital morgue.

    when driving 2 wheeler people thinking they are very safe and speed limit also very high ,before giving 2 wheeler licence RTA should give classes for how to RIDE when alone or with family
