S M Shetty Educational Institutions celebrate Teacher’s Day

Mumbai.Sept 5: Bunts Sangha’s S M Shetty Educational Institutions, Powai celebrated Teacher’s Day on Monday September 5 in R N Shetty Auditorium at the institutional complex.

Powai education committee chairman B R Shetty, vice chairman Vasant N Shetty Palimar, treasurer CA Jagdish B.Shetty along with members of Powai education committee Shanta G Shetty, Dr Manohar Hegde and advocate B B Shetty graced the occasion. 

Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year as a management event to appreciate the efforts and achievements of teachers and their contribution in the growth of our institutions. The management also acknowledges teachers and non-teaching staff with long service years. This year, 30 teaching and non-teaching staff across sections completing 10 years of service and 1 staff of international school - Veena Ghole completing 20 years at the institution were felicitated on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

A colourful programme having mix of acting, music and dance performances was presented by the staff for the staff and Management. The whole event was curated, planned, monitored and executed by the non-teaching department of the institution.
