Mangaluru: Suratkal toll gate still operating; protest panel calls for strike on Sep 13

Mangaluru, Sep 11: Suratkal tollgate protest committee has called for a public strike in front of the Suratkal toll gate on September 13 condemning the delaying tactics of not publishing the date for merging Suratkal toll gate with Hejmady, though NHAI has given the green signal.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel confirmed the go ahead given by NHAI with regards to the closure of NITK toll gate. But so far no development in that regard has taken place.

Abhaychandra Jain, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Mithun Rai and others participated in the protest that was held last time. The protest committee said that various vehicles’ drivers and owners’ associations will take part in the protest.

    EVERY SMALL MINISTER IN THE DISTRICT HAVE SOME SHARES IN THIS TOLL GATE.. WHY WOULD SOMEONE CLOSE SOMETHING WHICH IS GETTING THEM SOME SORT OF EXTRA INCOME.. EVERYBODY IS CORRUPT.. GOD BLESS OUR INDIA..

    In 2016 when Subramanya Swami spoke about winning election using emotion, we did not agree. Because we thought, people are intelligent enough to judge what is good and what is bad. At that time he mentioned, "Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao introduced economic reforms and took the economy from 3 per cent to 9 per cent, while Rajiv Gandhi's tenure saw a phenomenal 14 per cent industrial growth. However, both lost the polls.Our spokespersons keep talking about development, but they should learn from Vajpayee because even he talked about India Shining and left other things. We lost badly."     The people of Udupi and Mangalore are the most useless Citizens as they are fully exploited by intelligent money hungry politician's. specially udupi people are foolswho are forced to pay both the tol gate unnecessarily.

    every time i read the news on suratkal toll gate i laugh so much that i cannot control myself...without doubt the people of land of monkeys are the most pukkela public which does not unite for a civic cause...even there they see Congress, blue jp etc etc...chalo sadthe raho...iss bimari ka koyi ilaaz nahin hai...otherwise how come a worthless mp like peteel is elected for three consecutive terms?
