Mangaluru, Sep 11: Miscreants have vandalised the CCTV camera and the fencing that was put up near the Someshwara Beach in Ullal to check illegal sand mining activities.

Internet-based CCTVs were installed by the district administration and were in use at Someshwara Beach, Kotepura, Talapadi and other places to check illegal sand mining activities.

Miscreants have vandalised a CCTV camera at 1 am on September 10 on the car street of the Someshwara temple by driving a tipper vehicle on the reverse. However, this act of destruction of the CCTV camera has been captured in a video via wi-fi.
