Udupi, Sep 12: Seer of Pejawar math Sri Vishwaprasannatheertha Sripada said that Swarna Shikhara will be offered to Ram mandir from Karnataka.
Decision in this regard was taken in the meeting in which Ram mandir trust president Mahanta Nrityagopal Dasji, secretary Champath Rai, treasurer Govindagiri Swamiji and others were present.
Pejawar Sree said, “The people of Karnataka wish to offer Swarna Shikhar to Ram mandir. It will build according to the design of the temple with the cooperation of devotees of the state. It will be taken in Yatra from Hampi to all parts of state. Later it will be sent to Ayodhya.”
Swamiji also said that one more yatra will be undertaken to invite the devotees of the country for the opening ceremony of Ram mandir.
It was decided that the idol of Lord Rama will be constructed in white stone with blue mixture according to religious tradition. Similarly, it was decided to take Teakwood for construction of Mandir from Maharashtra.
