Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School conducts collection drive

Mangaluru, Sep 12: A collection drive was organized from September 3 to 7 at Lourdes Central School to help the needy during the season of festivals.

The response was truly heart-warming, knowing that our students and the parent community do care and are sensitive to the needs of poor and underprivileged.

Students were guided to bring groceries, bed linen and sanitary napkins. The students of class XI A, B & C collected and sorted the items to be distributed to different homes of the needy and orphanages - St Juze home, Mangaluru, Karunamaya Ashram Cascia, Paschim Rehabilitation Centre Ullal, Little Sisters of the poor Maroli, St Angela Boarding Bejai, Ashraya Girls orphanage Anegundi, Bejai Mangaluru.

The principal greatly appreciated the students and the parents for their keen interest and generous contribution towards LCS collection drive.
