Media Release

Mangaluru, Sep 12: The tiny tots of St Agnes Preparatory school showed their respect to teachers by celebrating the Teacher’s Day on September 5. A day commemorating the birthday of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

The celebration began with evoking God’s blessing through meaningful prayer service which was led by the coordinator Sr Lorna Mary and concluded with a devotional song sung by students of senior KG, followed by all teachers lighting the lamp on the blissful morning.

Sahiba of U.K G gave a floral welcome to the coordinator. Students entertained the teachers with dance, action song, felicitation song, and all teachers were given flowers as token of love and appreciation to the dedicated service they provide in shaping and moulding the tiny tots.

The programme was a huge success under the able guidance of Sr Lorna Mary. Teacher Josna compered the programme. Teacher Gulobia proposed the vote of thanks to all for their participation.

The teachers were grateful to the wonderful gesture of students and altogether it was a happy day to all teachers.
