Wilfy Rebimbus (67), husband of Meena Rebimbus, father of Veena / Arthur and Vishwas / Charleen, grandfather of Arvin and Anna, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.

Funeral on : Thursday 11 March 2010

To pay last respect the mortal remains of Wilfred Rebimbus will be kept for public viewing at St. Joseph’s Seminary Church – Jeppu, Mangalore from 2 – 4 pm on Thursday 11 March 2010, followed by Requiem Mass at 4 pm and burial at Jeppu Cemetery .

Be consoled in knowing the truth that, Wilfy was not only a famous man but more so he was a good, kind and generous man, a good influence on all who associated with him and who were around him.

Bieng his friend from childhood and being involved in many of his earlier activties was an honour, especially participating in the first Konkani movie "Mog ani Maipas" was even a greater one. I will cherish those moments all my life.

Mangalorean community based in Mangalore, Canada and all over the world are poorer without you wilfy but we will take comfort in the truth that you will be watching over your family and all of us from above and praying for us all the time.

It is a sgocking and hear-breaking news to hear the passing away of Konkan Kogul, Wilfy Rebimbus. He has touched the hearts of millions around the world with his melodious, sentimental and meaningful songs. he has left for his eternal home, where will add one more voice in the heavenly choir. Though our Wilfy has gone from our sight, he will be in our hearts, and his voice will be heart in every Konkani Mogi's house until the end of the age. May God welcome him with the heavenly chorus of angels. Wilfy we love you. My condolences to Meena, Vishwas& fly, Veena & family.

I do not know any of you or even Wilfy personally but I am greatly moved by his lyrics. He was really a gem of a person.
